My piece looks like a cross between a rabbit and a bat and it looks like it is always screaming. The creature has 3 sharp bottom teeth and two dull fang-like top teeth. (I forgot to take an in-progress picture but the ones on the top is the sculpture right after I finished it)
I made this piece by first by making a pinch pot by pinching around the outside of a ball of clay and pushing in with my thumb. I angled my thumb so that the pinch pot would open straight forward not at the top. Then I carved out the insides and used that leftover clay to add the nose, eyes, teeth, hands, and ears to the creature. Interpret: How did you show your theme of line, texture, pattern, or shape/form? I showed my theme of texture by adding texture like the nose and the eyes which stick out from the rest of piece because they are attached on and pop out. My pinch pot also sorta shows the theme of shape/form because of the overall from of creature and the things like the ears and nose that stick out and create a 3D effect. I feel like my piece was kina successful, it definitely could have used more texture or lines like maybe fur or scales to make it have more of a consistent theme. I am also planning on using it as an pencil holder or supplies holder and it is pretty successful in holding my supplies.
